Dang this is me being spoiled in LA I guess but, I don't expect to pay more than 89 cents a pastry, maybe 99 cents. They're minimum 1.29 here. They're really good though. The meat selection is decent but not super cheap to me. The hot tamales are what I came for basically. I needed lunch. They have a whole restaurant in there too. But yeah, prices are just ok. Foods good. Place was flooded today from the rain. I'd come back for pastries just not cheap.
Ordered 30lbs of carnitas, rice and beans for my son's grad party. It was all delicious!
The hot food they have is surprisingly good. The Agua frescas are always fresh and tasty. I ordered the chile relleno and it was so flavorful and drenched in sauce. Yum! The staff is always friendly and nice.
The store had so many things. Vanilla from Mexico, canned nopales without chiles. Lots of things to choose from. We will be back real soon.
